OK...let's have 'em.

I imagine there will be releases from Panda Bear and Burial this year. I hope so anyway.

Already leaked. It's actually quite good. Little mellower than I expected and a tad more tuneful. It's not my kind of thing, but I imagine it'll make a fair number of Top 20 lists a year from now.

it's been a few years since The Residents and Sonic Youth have released albums, so I have high hopes on those fronts, too.

Didn't that Social D album already come out? I swear I read something about an album this year. I even remember the review saying it was a little too slick, but pretty good.

Also, a Strokes album will top my list of anticipation and disappointments most likely. Lucinda and mmj would be must hears.

They play the single on outlaw country. Her voice sounds as good as ever.

With a title like that this had better be a return to form and not some more of that delicate piano shit she's been doing lately.

Are Man Man and Low definitely putting out new records, or are those just hopes?

Looking forward to the Deerhoof album at the end of this month, and I may check out the new Wire and Gang of Four records. I'm sure the Wire record will be decent at the very least, but I don't know about GoF. I'll probably want to hear the new Akron/Family, and I'll check out that James Blake album once it's officially released.

Has the Battles album been totally nixed since Tyondai left the band? I haven't seen anything else about it.

Low and Man Man are definitely coming out this Spring. I think they're both coming in April from what I've heard. I got a chance to hear the Low record recently and its a bit more direct than the last one. Really really great stuff.
