So I just reviewed Heikki's 2, and I think some of you may enjoy their brand of Stockholm-ericana (I am fond of such hyphenates when referring to this band). They sound like a lot of bands depending on the song, from The New Pornographers to Belle and Sebastian to Simon and Garfunkle to Low. Some of you are likely to disagree with all of those comparisons, but whatever. I would post mp3's, but it would be pretty unethical since I was given the CD as a pre-release review copy, but there are 2 songs (only one from 2) on their website.

The dude produced Nicolai Dunger, T(I)NC and Ed Harcourt. The girl is in The Concretes.

And Haq lays down the challenge. To all those folks bitching about a lack of music discussion, here's your chance to discuss music.

Yeah, as catchy as that song is, it's really not the best they've got, and I think it's a poor foot to put forward. I'll see what I can do.

The influences say "something I'll like"; I'll check out the mp3's later. Thanks A.

Whoa, accordion-fronted indie pop? "Former Hero" sounds a whole lot like the Gay, only if cub's Lisa Marr was on lead vocals.

Edit: shit, the link didn't work. Here's the Mint Records list of bands, click on The Gay, and there's two MP3s available from their album.
