Pope Paul is clearly out the door. Who would you pick to replce him.

I vote for George Carlin, for irony's sake. For the sake of the Catholic chiurch I hope it is someone Latin American and in favor of birth control. Not that this will ever happen...

There was this one priest I knew who was pretty cool, non-molesting and really into the faith. I'd pick him. I think he's rolling with St Peter though, if memory serves, still, he'd be my pick. I'd bumb him up to Cardinal.

Obviously William S Burroughs would be a great choice, too.

I have zero interest in papal activity, since I never have been nor will I ever be a Catholic.

That being said, I think it would be pretty fucking badass if this Cardinal Francis Arinze, a Nigerian, were tapped to succeed.

as my friend is 9-12 units shy of graduating, I want that guy to get it, so that he can get a trip to the Vatican and his degree...
