I don't know about that. Seems to be there are a heck of a lot more examples of people who leave successful groups and go on to more mediocre things than people who knock it out of the park in multiple permutations.

I really liked the White Stripes. I know Jack is doing/will do other things, but it's a small consolation since I don't really care for any of his side/production projects.
