From record sales. That's their logic anyway. They're forced to keep the band financially viable by going on the road. Some bands can't even make money doing that since they don't tour smart i.e., taking a full bus and paying crew members who do nothing when they could scale back the road operation. There are other options in the space between van + trailer and Prevost bus.
