I don't think you need for me to recommend the Yep & Ron Sexsmith albums but I really like both.

I also like the new Eddie Spaghetti and Marianne Faithfull records.

Thank YOU for the Marianne Faithfull reminder. I did the same thing a couple weeks back but have since forgotten about it. I gave the Eddie Spaghetti record a couple of spins but couldn't put my finger on what was missing.

"Stomp and Holler" will almost certainly end up on every mix I make this year. Overall, it actually hit immediately with me as he's really reminding me of Tommy Womack on this record.

I, too, will have a hard time leaving that track off future mixes. It's good accompaniment while throwing furniture.

Come to think of it, it does remind me a bit of him. I'm pretty sure it was Rads that turned me on to Mr.Womack.

Shoo, I wanted to like it. Right up my alley. I can't put my finger on the missing ingredient(s). Of course, it could just be me.

It's not you. Eddie sounds completely unenthusiastic for his own music. There's zero energy, just a guy going through the motions. You'd have to listen to a steady diet of David Crosby albums in order to prepare yourself for something this listless and pointless.

I'm cracking the fuck up. In David's defense, he could harmonize with a wounded animal.

I've got a Pandora station on the computer at the warehouse for when I'm bored of my music that will probably play me the whole album...It's what turned me on to Old No. 2 in the first place.

Don't listen to Radcliffe. If you like Old No. 2, there's a good chance you'll like the new one. I really like it.
