So he dances around like an imbecile for one video and suddenly it doesn't matter that he's in the most pretentious band in history?

exactly. he doesn't give a fuck what you think.

My initial take after listening to it on Friday morning was that it was In Rainbows Lite or a B-sides release, but I still enjoyed it. It definitely got better after another listen later in the day. I tend to agree with Drinky's comment about the lack of rock, and would add that the album really doesn't have that many drastic sonic changes throughout it, but I appreciate the effort and think it will definitely grow on me. I feel like they sort of settled into a specific style, yet were still experimenting in a very subtle way.

have been relistening to radiohead this weekend. hail to the thief is way better than i recalled. definitely, for me, the king of limbs is the hardest radiohead album to really like. i dig it, but will probably not love it. kinda think this isn't the whole album.

yeah, i have a weird sneaky suspicion that, since this album is only 8 tracks and isn't my fav album by a wide margin, and because they've pulled a couple back-to-back surprises, that they're going to pull a Robyn on us and release a couple more 8-ish track albums this year and end 2011 with one greater album pulling the best tracks off of all "three". that has to be it, it has to...

I'm with Prom. Sounds like a B-Sides release. Nothing to get excited about. I listened to it about 6 times front to back and nothing really grabbed me. Oh well...

I'm calling it Kid B-Sides...wholly unoriginal but again...Truth.

Radiohead fans, you're not tired of this electronic/drum-beat thing that seems to be on every record since Kid-A? It feels really tired to me at this point.

the only reason why i'm a little tired of it this time around is because the songs aren't as good, and that's just comparing it to "in rainbows", which grabbed me on 1st listen. same thing with the overabundance of falsetto. it'll be weird coming to the end of 2011 and not ranking a radiohead release as my favorite...

i still like the album, just not as good as their other stuff, which is THEIR FAULT for setting such a high precedent.

This doesn't grab me like In Rainbows did. I hope it grows on me though.

Damn it. People tell me I look like Thom Yorke, but I've also never thought myself to be handsome. OPA, can I get a ruling on this? ;)

I can dance way better than Thom, and my teeth are straight.

I'm not a big Radiohead fan, but am digging this Lotus Flower song.

I like this better than their last two, but I don't think it's great. That said, "Lotus Flower" (without the video) and "Separator" are pretty awesome so maybe I'll like the rest if I listen more. That's more than I can say about HTTT and In Rainbows, so it's exciting to be able to enjoy something by one of my former favorite bands.

It's funny how different everyone's opinion is. That's cool too. Makes for good discussion.

pretty polarizing album to say the least. as stated, that's not a bad thing.

it's probably really interesting for the band to sit back and see what everyone is saying about their new material. no word from them yet since the release, so i'm wondering if the commentary will push them to release something else this year, hold back, or if they even give a fuck. that's one of the most interesting things about Radiohead at this point in their career. anything can happen.

my money's on more material in the very near future. separator's lyrics are too big of a clue, plus the shortness of king of limbs overall.

I've listened to this a few times now. It's not bad, sounds a bit thin at times, but there are some good moments here. Favorite track by far is Feral right now.

yeah, loving Feral more with each listen, especially when the bass barrels in. this is going to sound HUGE live.
