Fuck my team this year. Top 5 recruiting class, and we are currently 2-6 in the ACC, having lost the past 3 or 4 straight. Unless something changes drastically, I do believe it is time to say goodbye to Sidney Lowe.

I have no knowledge of your talent level but outside of Duke, the ACC is there to be had this year so I can totally understand the frustration.

I mean, I saw that UNC was 6-1 in conference a couple days ago. I had no idea. They've looked horrible at times this year.

Yea, the ACC's recent status in football and basketball is a little numbing.

I used to defend the ACC as the best basketball conference in the land a la the SEC in football, but now I'd just rather watch the Big East.

Fuck this season. My interest in NCAA hoops has been reduced to hoping Texas gets to the Final Four so I can sell my tickets for some big dough.

Oh, and I also occasionally curl up into the fetal position, rock back and forth and wonder aloud "What the fuck happened?" for a couple hours at a time.

Yeah, but not the season when they were forecasted as the No. 2 preseason and the Final Four is in the state I now live (and have tickets to) thus opening the door to the very reasonable chance of seeing my school win a championship in person.

That door has since been closed. Hard. On my foot. And face.

Yeah, the Smith kid was pretty much unstoppable.

Still, pretty decent bed shitting by Carolina.

At least I was able to watch it on Raycom and not have to endure another Dickie V blow job to Coach K and the Cameron Crazies.

GO HUSKERS and FUCK TEXAS

Nebraska knocked off the #3 team in the country today at home and have clearly became an NCAA bubble team. I'm used to the Huskers being epic fail in Basketball, so it would be really cool to see them make the tournament field this year after being projected to be one of the worst teams in the Big 12.
It was also nice to see the Big Red ruin a perfect Big 12 conference record for the Longhorns.

Huge win by the Dawgs today too; first time they've won at Tennessee in 10 years

I think yesterday was the first time in a long while that nearly every other Big 12 team was hoping Nebraska would win a big game in conference play.
The Huskers came so close to ending the Jayhawks streak at the Phog in January, only to see it end the next weekend in a loss to Texas. If the Huskers could have held on to that one they might be a solid tourney team now. I guess I should just be happy they aren't sitting in the cellar like Iowa State and hope they can beat KSU this week to solidify their standing in the tourney field.

Ruining what was likely going to be an undefeated conference season for Texas was probably the best one last "Fuck You" we can give to those bastards that have ruinined the Big XII conference. FUCK TEXAS is right!!!

Colorado and Nebraska play a "Bubble" game in Boulder on Saturday in the Huskers final Big 12 regular season game.

Nebraska, Baylor and Colorado are three of the last four teams out in the current Bracketology. If the Huskers beat the Buffs, they get the sixth seed in the Big 12 tournament and get to face the Sooners in the first round. Most of those teams two conference tournament wins at this time to lock up a bid, so I'm really just hoping for a 20+ win season at this point.

i've been pretty disappointed by your huskers ever since the upset. i ALWAYS root for Big 12 teams during the madness and have been hoping your boys would make it - alas it's husker basketball we're talking about. one of those three teams must win the tourney to make it to the dance now. i'm quietly rooting for doc & co. i'd like to tout my team's successes this year but i'm mad superstitious - i'll wait until the season's over.

I know its BYU and all, but having your 3rd best player kicked off the team for having sex with his gf? Sucks.

Sorry duder but I got to selfishly pull for the Buffs in that one. Georgia beat Colorado in a random early season game that looked pretty insignificant at the time. They've been helping our RPI and SOS ever since. Dawgs need all the help we can get.

I think a win @Bama this weekend and AVOID a bad loss in the tourney and we're in. It would be a HUGE step forward and a great accomplishment for Mark Fox.

As for Baylor, they have no one to blame but themselves if they don't get in. They had it right in front of them with Ok State and Texas (who in the last 2 weeks has struggled). I'm not sure a win over Texas would get them in now. They may have some serious work to do in the Big 12 tourney.

FYI, I can't tell you how pumped I am for the tourney this year. Seems like there is no dominant team this year and about 20 teams that have a legit shot at winning it all.

Villanova, I won't be fooled by you again. You've had your last chance to ruin my bracket.

Also, anyone want to explain to me how the expansion is going to work? I haven't even looked into it.

I can't understand why he ever voluntarily came forth with an admission in the first place. He knows it's a no-no at BYU, so why not just keep it hush-hush. You think the punky QB went confessing to the Provost every time he dipped his wick in some nubile NOMROM coed?

There's one thing you can count on during the Big 12 Basketball season this year, and that is Nebraska and Missouri looking like absolute shit in road games.

The loss at Iowa State last weekend was the only true disappointment by the Huskers since their upset win over Texas, and now they need a cinderella run in the conference tournament or epic collapse by a bubble team to barely get into the Big Dance.

It's nice to see both Nebraska and Colorado knock off a few rated teams in conference before they leave the Big 12.
I really like Doc Sadler. His teams play lockdown defense and rarely get blownout despite having a lack of blue chip talent. I really wish they'd get the new arena built here in Lincoln, so he had better facilities to lure recruits with to Nebraska.
