Parks and Rec is fucking unbelievably bad. Like Office level stupid and unfunny. Community is worth it to think about banging Pete Campbell's wife, but isn't what i would call a laugh riot.

We watch HIMYM, but I rarely laugh. I actually just kind of like the characters and the story's conceit.

Bill Maher is probably the closest thing to comedy I watch with any regularity.

Community should have been on my good list.

Episodes was solid

The last two Bob's Burgers have had me in tears. The Bed & Breakfast episode was stellar (that Gene).

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
Curb Your Enthusiasm
The Life And Times Of Tim
The Daily Show

Just started getting into Community and Louie and really like both of them.

Portlandia has been ok but I've only seen clips and it feels like it would get boring if the episodes were stretched out.

Everything else I really can't be bothered with for the most part.

Though it's picked up the pace over the past few episodes, by and large Archer has been significantly inferior this season compared to last season. But that was admittedly a sky-high bar they set during Season 1.

Even so, it's still in my Top 5 current shows. Honestly, I think Parks & Rec is probably #1 for me right now.

Louie is awesome, and Season 2 starts in June.

As someone who works for a municipal government, I can't help but be massively amused by how much of it mimics what I'm exposed to around my office on a daily basis.

I think you just have it in for the mockumentary-style sitcom, which even I will agree has become far too much of a crutch for shows these days.

Agreed with Archer, Bob, but I'll still endure commercials for it and watch it live *gasp*.

Community is fantastic. I've had a thing for Joel McHale since he was in Burger King commercials.

Also enjoyed the first season of Bored to Death, but didn't have HBO for the second.

And yes to almost everything else mentioned in this thread.

oh, you should remedy this. i thought the 1st season was all right, but that the 2nd was excellent. the writing really improved and went beyond cases of the week being the A-story. and the ray/jonathan/george dynamic is one of the best trios on television.

It still has the occasional hilarious episode (the Lethal Weapon homage, for example), but most weeks it's just settled into a very rote formula:

charlie and frank hatch a wacky scheme, which mac and dennis try to outdo (or vice-versa), while dee does some self-indulgent/destructive crazy shit that the other four completely ignore (other than to mock her irrelevance to the gang)

man, tv comedy is SCARCE.

like: 30 Rock, Episodes was pretty good as mentioned above, still enjoy Californication in spite of its stupidity, Bored to Death, Life and Times of Tim, Louie, Curb, The Onion news parodies aren't bad at times.

have seen a few times, but stopped watching because i wasnt laughing: Community, Parks and Rec, The League, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Modern Family

never seen: archer, bob's burgers, all the other atrocious network shit mentioned above.

oh and i really hated Portlandia, despite heather graham apparently filing a scene like 10 blocks from my house without my knowledge!

I think Its Always Sunny is still great, although I agree with Bobbo to a degree..but there's nothing wrong with it...they found a formula that works...

but right now, my tv world revolves around the first 19 episodes of 'The League' and it's upcoming season.

I was wondering about this. I was bummed I was missing it when it was on, but now I'll definitely have to seek it out, thanks.

Louie and Archer are my two favorite right now.

Love 30 Rock, but it's not as great as it has been, same with It's Always Sunny.

Parks and Rec has taken a step back, but I still laugh at Ron Swanson every episode.

Bob's Burger's has had it's moments so far, I'll keep watching

Not up to date on Modern Family, but I liked it last year.

Can't get into Community or The League...

- I am on the verge of breaking up with 30 Rock - last season was pretty awful and this one is only marginally better
- Parks and Recreation is my favorite network comedy right now
- Louie is awesome, and I can't wait for what the second season brings
- Need to check out Archer on Netflix Watch Instantly
- Bob's Burgers has been watchable, but is not essential for me
- The League tries really, really hard, and the improvisational style can be a bit distracting but I don't usually regret watching it
- Still watch HIMYM, and I do think its been better this season
- RIP Party Down

Is Louie on Netflix or do they run reruns of it? I'm definitely a fan of Louie CK but never set my DVR to catch the show when it aired.

last night's parks & rec was fantastic.

that was exactly the right way to use ron at this point - his joy over a tiny horse, setting everyone straight on the ferris wheel and "jerry's still out there."

I do not see that Louie is on Netflix. Perhaps you have the hip, California Netflix, and I have the shitty, Deep South Netflix.
