We tossed around the idea earlier in the week. FemDerris worked some of her connections and if we could get tix for free we were gonna go.

No dice. I love the (REAL) Dawgs but let's be honest, we're most likely going down and I don't really have the days to take right now anyway.

But, if the program continues to get better I could see myself making the trek to one of these weekends someday.

I just know I would want to kill myself if I invested the money, took the day off, drove the 4 hours, and watched us be 1 and done.

Maybe not myself, but somebody.

Problem is, I had them winning more games than most, I suspect. Disadvantage: me.

Now, if Kansas can somehow manage to lose their first game to BU, then I might be back in the hunt.

I had about as bad start to today's games as you can have. 4 out of 8 and lost a final 4 team.

I was 10 of the first 12.... then missed on all 4 late games last night. Oops!!!

I've lost 2 Sweet 16 teams, but that's it so far. Still have a shot. :wink:

Same exact here (except for the all 4 night games). Lost St. Johns and Louisville.

I'm in my office pool here at work and our COO had Louisville in the title game. :lol:

two of my sweet 16 losses yesterday were courtesy of pitino and izzo. had uk not managed to pull out that win against princeton, i'd be italian anti-defamation league enemy #1 today
