Magnetic Fields - 69 Love Songs, vols. 1 and 2

Sorry. Thought that they were iconic enough at this point (at least around here), that folks would recognize them. Great records.

I did, but as background music at work yesterday so I wasn't paying a ton of attention. It's definitely cheesy. I don't really have a full formed opinion on it yet, but I don't know that its my thing. Might give it a few more listens.

Drinky - "New Album" was how it was listed on the site I got it from, so thats what I went with.

just discovered this one:

obliteration - nekropsalms

awesome death/black metal sludge beast. tuned down, blast beats and slow passages to head-bang.

Yeah, OK, I was thinking of Attention Please which I guess is something entirely different. So they're putting out three albums at more or less the same time?

My listening for today:

Harvey Milk - Life... The Best Game in Town
Opeth - Ghost Reveries
Cynic - Focus
King Crimson - Discipline
Radiohead - The King of Limbs
Burial - Untrue
James Blake - The Bells Sketch/CMYK/Kalvierwerke
Four Tet - Dialogue
Nils Petter Molvaer - Khmer

Been kinda dismal, honestly, aside from King Crimson. This is my first time listening to that Radiohead album in over a month, and it was pretty damn boring. Also my first time ever listening to a whole Burial album, and I almost fell asleep at my desk. James Blake actually sounds pretty good after listening to that.

I guess that Boris album isn't scheduled for a release outside of Japan and someone suggested it's their take on j-pop/j-metal. What I've heard of the other two albums sounds more like their usual stuff.

It's good. very catchy songs...i wouldn't say they have mellowed over the years, but it is almost radio friendly.
i saw it yesterday for 9.99 but wanted to hear it before i pulled the trigger....it's purchase worthy for 9.99.
