I've heard a couple interviews with Eddie promoting this book and it seems pretty cool. It's very niche--like he only likes what he likes and only features shit that fits into his weird criteria. I guess the great thing too is that it's full of pictures from shows from back in the late 70's-80's.

Dale--he's doing a signing in Ft. Lauderdale right before what is one of Maiden's only US dates.

The story about how he got the tickets and his friend sneaking the camera in to shows was pretty cool. Nowadays they'd probably be publicly flogged.

This signing is directly across the street from the venue Iron Maiden plays that night! Come meet me, pick up the book and hang before going to Maiden!

Yeah, the guy who took most of the pictures in the book worked at a record store in Jersey and would open the store like one minute late on the morning of a big ticket sale...after he had printed off the front row for him and his boys. So he took all these amazing shots at shows without even having a credential.

Is 1/2 of the book devoted to UFO?

Ohg, Dale v. Paula Deen and Ina Garten was a hot seller!

Dale, pick up a copy of this for Bloor and I and get it signed and send me a bill. I'm dead serios, I'll PM/FB message you about it. You probably have paypal or a CC provider because of the label right?

He was on Never Not Funny a few weeks ago promoting this. It sounds like a pretty sweet read.

I heard his interview on Opie and Anthony. While I dig his passion, it also sounds like he tends to fawn over the same 20 bands over and over.

I'm sure it has a few interesting nuggets but color me surprised Loog at the lengths you are going to get this.

I guess I just don't need to read stories about Bon Jovi, Testament, UFO, Y&T, etc.

my buddy bought this book. I'll borrow it from him when he is done.
I know and have worked with Eddie. good guy, but hardly the be-all end-all of people I'd drool at the mouth to read a book bout hard rock and metal....to nice of a guy to provide any true dirt.
