That group of Vegas, Woodward, and Quiros would be fun as hell to follow. Talk about long hitters, those guys are hitting it like 320-340.

Candidate for this years ridiculous looking golfer is Charley Hoffman, what fucking clown.

I'd wanted to see Dustin Johnson do really well, but he didn't start very well. I'd be happy if Mcilroy won, but there's a lot more golf to be played. Loving the live streaming online...not gonna work much today.

yeah, i don't get hoffman's hippie look but he actually comes across as a pretty nice guy & quite knowledgable about the game. i think he's pretty well-respected by other players despite the ragged, whispy doo. i dislike anyone named Rory and will never support them no matter how endearing. i don't think quiros has what it takes to win but he's certainly likable. i'll root for dustin johnson, ishikawa & kuchar but my heart will always be with tee-gro tiger.

this.

Golf is more exciting and fun to watch when he's destroying people. Sadly, I doubt he'll ever be that dominant again.

How did getting busted for extra-marital hijinks ruin his golf game, out of genuine curiosity?

It didn't. It just coincided with a lot of other things: Knee trouble, swing-change, and age. On top of that, he stepped away from the game to get his house in order and you can still see some rust from not really playing much competitive golf in the last couple of years.

And how anyone can be a Tiger fan over Lefty is beyond me. The game is so much more exciting when Phil is doing is best to destroy sure victories.

Many people are curious about this. A lot of golf analysts are harping on it...when will Tiger win again...why is he not winning...will he ever win again.

He basically just stopped practicing and playing all-together for a long time, and so far he hasn't returned to the kind of form he was in prior to the hijinks...and it's been a while since all that happened, so naturally people are waiting for him to be awesome again.

But like Kingfish said his form was dipping at the same time of the hijinks also.

That makes sense. I was looking at it like "getting tons of tail + awesome at golf" and then "tail habit uncovered, suddenly un-awesome at golf" and it didn't jive.

i dunno, i think there is definitely a connection there between booty/golf regarding tiger. the man's personality was pretty much the same for both - "i am tiger woods and i am going to absolutely fuck you up." so when the whole scandal happened i think the fallout had a profound effect on his psyche, both personally and professionally. pre-scandal he had an arrogance and confidence that he knew no one could fuck with. once everything came out i think he realized he was vulnerable after all and it contributed in losing his edge/concentration/whatever he had in golf. also no one is really scared of him anymore.

now that he's divorced he really needs to go back to his whoring ways to get him back on track on the course.

So you're saying he can't get his golf boner up?

It's McIlroy's to lose. Lotta pressure for a 21 year old to go to bed with tonight.

My man Bubba Watson went nuts today but might be too late. Cabrera went off as well.

Crazy start to today's play. Charl Schwartzel chips in on 1 and then knocks it in from the fairway on 3 to tie the lead. Tiger makes 4 birdies in the first 7 holes, too bad about that three putt bogey.... Mcilroy no doubt feeling the pressure.

McIlroy with the yips. And Tiger with the big par save. This is great.

The word you are looking for is SWAG

His big mistake was getting married in the first place. It's all just rumor then. Like A-Rod and the bathhouses.

The Masters is the one tournament I will watch from start to finish if it is intriguing...and this is as intriguing as it gets.

Same.

The Masters always makes me want to get out there myself. Now if it would just stop snowing.

Can't miss 3 foot putts at this juncture and expect to win.
