How's that Biters? I liked what I heard of them before, but I saw a video from the new one and it came across a bit too slick for me...although I'm still curious if the rest of it sounds good. What's your take?

Sounds exactly like what I expected and hoped for after the previous ep. I wouldn't call it slick, but that's me.

The Motors - 'The Motors'

Surely one of the ugliest band pictures of all time. Two of them looked like diseased vagrants, an other looks like a trepanned Aztec and the one at the front looks like a recalcitrant plumber who did three years for fondling a step daughter.

PS - Reissue live bonus track of 'Be What You Gotta Be' rocks more than a table in a shitty cafe.

Ugliest band pic, plus ugliest band. One of those brainiac moves by the record label, who replaced the original cover (which was hideous, but it at least hid the band members from public view).

What do you think? That's probably the one album that I liked last year that I probably should have pimped a little harder to people.

If this is what Oasis sounds like without Noel, then Liam should have kicked him to the curb 13 years ago…and I say that being somebody who actually liked songs from their 00s output.

I'm kind of surprised how much I have been able to get into this, seeing that, with the last couple Cracker full lengths (save for Countrysides), I've only been able to salvage 2 or 3 songs per album.

And this isn't music but,

This is funny, but disappointing because I guess I was hoping for new material. If you've seen his Monster Rain DVD, you've heard about 70% of this already. If you've heard any of his other random appearances (late show, Howard Stern, etc), then you've probably heard another 10% at least.

Might be my favorite record of the year so far. If Drake was actually good. Morning is my top track of 2011.
