Good story about a good friend of mine and great bartender from my favorite local bar. Has never made any secret of the mistakes he has made, glad to see him getting a second chance, couldn't happen to a nicer dude.

Awesome.
Maybe we'll see a Mike Leake video soon.

Corey Hart changed his stance in batting practice before yesterday's game. Since then,

4-5, 4 HR, 9 RBI's (through 1 game on Monday and his first at-bat tonight)...

I'd stick with the new stance, Corey!!! Go Brew Crew!!!

Of more importance? Where are all the lawn statues! Sheesh, can't believe that was a "hot" news item on most MLB blogs.

That said, our hitting is PATHETIC. Dan Uggla is a 62 million dollar black hole in our lineup.

Uggla is now a 5 alarm fire of fail.

Unless he somehow turns it around, his pickup should be labeled as the "worst move in the off season".

A win tonight would put the O's at the .500 mark.

It would also get us out of the basement. Our bullpen is a mess though. Not sure how we're going to win big games without the support of it. Our pitching staff has been good, though. Britton, Guthrie, and Arrieta have all been awesome to watch. Vlad has been surprising decent, while Adam Jones continues to get better with each game. Wieters is also getting better, with the pressure of being the next wunderkind and managing a young pitching staff seemingly dropping off with each game. He definitely appears to feel more comfortable out there.

Brewers are the hottest team in baseball right now... which is good, since they had a 7-game losing streak earlier this year.

Best news is that they really aren't playing to their full potential yet. Greinke/Gallardo/Marcum are looking like a great top of the rotation once they get rolling.

Tomorrow's pitching matchup between Marcum & Lincecum should be great. That's one game I wish I was going to.

If the Red Sox win today (which it looks like they will), both teams will be 11-2 over last 13... so pretty much dead even. I was just going by current win streak (Brewers at 6).

I'm cautiously optimistic. They kick ass at home, but can't win on the road.

It was strange seeing Braun lose his cool last night, after that I wanted Roenicke to flip his lid too...that guy needs to do something, he's got no personality on the bench.

Seriously?!!? I was a Royals fan in the '80s... does that count?

Haven't had a favorite baseball team that I followed closely since the Twins in the early 90's.

Looks like both teams have been overtaken by the freakin' Diamondbacks (!??!) for the current "hottest team".
