I'm in Indianapolis right now, so I'm planning on heading up to Broad Ripple and hit a couple stores.

for the first time here in Hawai'i the independent music stores are doing the national record day promotion including live performances (Todd Rundgren) and LP giveaways

I have to work tomorrow but I probably will swing by and check it out

Indy CD and Vinyl
VIBES

those are your best bet in b-rip

if luna has a store there, go there. can't remember if they do or not.

or you could drive an hour north and hang out with toots at village green records in muncie

Any day that results in a new piece of Fahey vinyl is a very good day!

Also couldn't leave without:

Thanks. We left before I saw your post, but I did some research, so we went to Indy CD and Vinyl and the Luna on 52nd and College. VIBES was on our list too, but we skipped it. We had had enough of the crowds at the first two, but they were both nice stores.

Bought Record Store Day Justin Townes Earle and Manchester Orchestra 7"s. Also found a bunch of other (non Record Store Day) vinyl. Good day.

Next time I'm down here, I'll look you up and buy you a beer.

The one record store in this town sucks. They apparently "didn't get their inventory in" last year. Oh well.

Nice! Have you listened? I've had that album as an mp3 for ages, but it's amazing the difference of owning it and hearing it big at home. Obviously. Very strange collages on the B-side to this, eh?
