Ho hum. Another 25 point night off the bench for Jamal Crawford.

4 CLUTCH free throws at the end for Joe Johnson who finishes with 20 and yet still reminds us all that he is the most overpaid 2nd banana in the NBA who can completely disappear for excruciatingly long stretches.

Also, fuck you Mike Wilbon.

I missed it, what did he say?

What you missed in your game analysis is that the Hawks should have won by 20 but barely held on.

A win is a win though and I fully expect Orlando to lay down and quit in Game 5. They have no fucking heart.

Bob, how worried are you about the Grizzlies after that game?

Not looking great, that's for sure.

i've been worried about the grizz since before game 1

the only thing keeping me off the ledge right now is the hornets-lakers being 2-2

that, and the rangers finally pulling their heads out of their asses for the first time in over a week

Bob... I was thinking about you last night when I pulled up the score on my phone before going to bed. Didn't watch the game... sounds like it was ugly indeed (for Spurs fans, at least).

Now, on to tonight... GO CP3!!!

I'll be switching channels between Versus & TNT to keep tabs on both Canucks/Blackhawks (I love Game 7's, even in hockey, which I rarely watch on TV) and the Lakers/Hornets.

YES

If the Hornets somehow manage to miraculously oust the Lakers, it will ease the crippling pain of my Spurs' demise like so much sweet, sweet morphine...

Only an Atlanta pro team can go up in a series 3-1 and then lose game 5 by 30.

Christ.

I wouldn't worry too much... Orlando was bound to have at least one good 3-point shooting night. I still think Atlanta wins Game 6 at home. Now, if they lose that one, then you should worry.

And they only lost by 25, not 30...

Bob... it's like you're being pulled out of the grave!!!

It will be interesting to see if that punch in the gut will affect the Grizzlies for the rest of the series. I would suspect there might be a hint of doubt seeping into their collective minds that the Spurs just will not allow themselves to be beaten.

It's ALL about Game 6. If the Spurs win that, they win the series. NO WAY the Grizzlies win Game 7 AT San Antonio after letting a 3-1 lead slip to 3-3.

That being said, the Spurs will lose Game 6 by 30.

Slugfest going on in Magic/Hawks tonight. 3 technicals so far and a whole period to go.

Hawks win despite a couple inexplicable mental defensive meltdowns with the game on the line.

Never thought I'd say it but Marvin Williams was the difference tonight.

Jamal Crawford is the series MVP.

Hawks will be a huge underdog against the Bulls.

that was pretty much a terrible end to an overall pretty fucking terrible season. Mavs were CLEARLY the better team, so don't feel that bad. However, thats three straight ugly first round exit for the Blazers...seem to be missing a clutch gene or two. Now, saddled with Roy's huge unmovable contract...for a player with a really iffy future... Have to make a decision on Oden...blech. Miller and Camby probably gone. Core of Aldridge/Wes Matthews/Gerald Wallace/Nicolas Batum doesn't give me a lot of confidence.

That's actually a pretty nice core. But, I do see Roy becoming a Michael Redd situation. & Oden makes Bogut look like an Ironman Triathlete.

See, losing by 25 the last game was just a ploy to make the Magic overconfident.

Tonight's game between the Spurs & Grizzlies should be epic. Like Bob said, if Memphis blows it tonight, I don't think they can win Game 7 in San Antonio. Should be a great game.

Yeah it's a good core for 5 years of 45-50 wins and a bunch of 1st round exits.

Impressive showing by that Memphis team and their fans. Zach Randolph really is one of the most frightening post scorers I've ever seen--like, I want to run away from him just watching on TV.

Pretty solid team the Knicks have thrown away now between Z-Bo, Jamal Crawford and the crew they sent to Denver.

If I've seen the Mavericks this year, it was months and months ago so I'm wondering whay they are getting a little juice to possibly beat the Lakers? Boredom? Brain atrophy?

I feel pretty good sticking by this statement after today.

Seriously, when did that guy become fucking unstoppable? Total career resurgence.

Always think of FemDerris's story about picking him up at the airport for that recruiting show and him wanting to be taken directly to Underground Atlanta.
