i have this disc that is labeled autechre, but with no track titles. it's from at least 6 or 7 years ago or more so it's nothing new. but i've tried listening to a lot of autechre online and going by track times and nothing seems to match.

any help would be appreciated. it's just the one unknown track here:

Drinky, anyone, been listening to the '91-'02 EPs that have come out? This is unfamiliar material to me at least, and I am loooooving it.

I don't have the set, but I'm familiar with the bulk of this stuff, and yes, it's great, some of their best.

What in particular are you digging from it? Off the top of my head I'd say my favorites of all that stuff are probably EP7, Gantz Graf, and Peel Session 2. Envane and Cichli Suite are great as well. So are Garbage and Anvil Vapre. Hell, that's most of it.

Yeah... I've listened to discs 1 and 2 at this point, and was into pretty much every moment. I've always liked what I know of Autechre, but I'm about to enter a serious phase. Please let me know the path I should follow. I'm really only familiar with Tri Repetae and Untilted.

You can go any number of ways, but the next album you should get is the s/t (LP5). I think it's their all-around best, and it also strikes a near-perfect middle-ground between their early sound and their current one.

Then from there, I'd say get Amber for more of the early stuff and/or Confield for more of the later stuff.

i don't think i ever figured it out. i solved the problem though by putting Kid Spatula on the mix instead of Autechre.
