This was inspired by Andy’s thread: http://www.obner.org/bb/viewtopic.php?t=5662

I also want to explain a few things like only owning the albums listed by Songs: Ohia and Sigur Ros.

No time now but will add to it soon. Not more albums but a paragraph or two for certain albums that I picked. I forgot about my blog but will have something, finally, to add to it.

np: Baseball (Finally, oh how I miss thee)

That was fast or did you have that written out already?

I did 50 but 30 is more reasonable. I was not necessarily asking for others to do a list as well but if you want than by all means.

Yeah. And I think that things need to be left alone for a good ten years before they can really be judged in this fashion. Yes, they would all be from the last five years, not up against old albums, but, for me, there is just no point.

People are never happy. First there is not enough music discussion and than there are too many lists. Admittedly burned out from lists as well but since it came up and others posted, I decided to also. I would of liked to have done this after June to give last year a good six months to settle in. Hell I just looked at what I posted two months ago and things have shaken up quite a bit. Totally forgot about that thread and most albums are the same but in a different mood as of late.

Bottom line is: We are all here because of music and if there are a few more music thread(s) because of it so be it. IMO, that is always a good thing.

Edit: See getting Billy G to post is a BIG plus.

No, dude, he invented whole idea!!!

Though seriously, calling these things "Listmania" has done nothing to improve participation.

And wasn't "Listmania IV" the movie one you guys did a while back? I wanted to do one of those, but I couldn't quite get my list up to 100.

Nice list. I always forget that people count that Boredoms album as post-2000 (I keep thinking it was released in '99), and I also didn't realize that Feather Float was released (at least domestically) in 2001. That's a great one, too.
