Obama's holding a press conference tonight. Surprised he wasn't dead already.

Saw this in my facebook feed:

"Just when Obama's ratings are the worst and an election on the horizon...the US gov kills a terrorist 'superstar' THEY created."

I imagine inside that bit of idiocy there's the seeds of the right wing reaction.

I guess they don't remember Bush's surprise "hey look over here, we got Hussein" announcement? haha

I checked out their coverage and damn if they aren't somber. One of my conservative friends text me "i guess we got 4 more years of Obama".

Fuck yeah Derris!!! Five tours in the Middle East. I got a hole in my leg, I've watched buddies die, I've hauled my best friend's arm around in a helo with him on my lap, been blown up more fucking times than I can count. Was on the ground when Zarqawi went down, and that doesn't even compare to this. I have had a bottle of Dom in reserve for almost ten years now. Me and the four guys left that made our first trip into Afghanistan back in '01 all have called each other and cracked our bottles tonight.

Fuck him, couldn't be happier that this fuck and everyone who looks up to him and will call him a martyr and glorify this piece of shit have lost him.

I'm getting wasted. HOOAH BITCHES!!!!!

i posted something in praise of Obama on Facebook, and some conservative dude I know, commented that Obama had nothing to do with it. like, because he wasn't there to pull the trigger, he doesn't get the credit. by this logic, I guess any leader only gets credit or takes a hit for their personal action and not the by the successes/failures of their organizations?
