Really hadn't watched Memphis play this year until the Spurs series... How did they get this good after Rudy Gay went down?!!?

Randolph & Gasol are monsters right now!!! I don't know if the Thunder can beat them 4 times.

Fun team to watch...

Now, I just want the Mavs to take out the Lakers. And, it would be really nice if the Celtics can wake up and beat the Heat. This year's playoffs have been outstanding so far.

I feel pretty good sticking by this statement after today.

doesn't really make me feel BETTER about the spurs getting booted the way they did, BUT it definitely makes it more UNDERSTANDABLE

i would think the one obnerinian z-bo's rampage most pains has to be ROGNEEB, since zach's TEH ONE WHOG GOTS AWAYG

Post-Grizzlies win in Memphis on Friday night... gunshots two blocks from Beale St, and Beale St was completely surrounded by what I can only imagine was the entire Memphis PD.

ROG's a savvy enough NBA fan to know that some guys take a long time and/or a few cities to really mature into their potential.

Plus I like the idea of Knicks fan being miserable.

Hinrich definitely out for Game 1 against the Bulls and probably more.

Looks like it's gonna be defense by committee on Rose tonight. Sucks. Would've liked to have at least taken our shot at full strength.

oh im sure he and his "hoops family" were regulars in my hood. he lived out in this huge mcmansion south of town in an area where he and his boys apparently drove all the WASPy neighbors absolutely crazy with late night shotgun blasts and ATV rides.

he was an ok player when he was here, but an absolute black hole, often lazy/disinterested, and only interested in personal stats...especially around contract time. had to get him out of here - he was blocking Aldridge's PT, didnt want the bad influence around the young guys, etc.

portland has shipped a lot of guys out of here over the past few years and he is really the only one who amounted to anything.

Dimino just tweeted that we should put Joe on him for every minute he's on the floor just to see how it works.

Does it? Aside from his part in the Artest Melee, I've never thought much of JO'N. Shoulda gone to college.

Rose 0-7 from the field, looks like you guys don't need Captain Kirk after all.

A bit. Still, he had a few good years when Portland could've used him.

Of course, if he stayed here, he'd have blown his knee out

I've killed Joe plenty but he was money in the bank tonight. Huge win.

Well I'll be damned.

Is that the same ankle Rose sprained against Indiana?

Crazy.

gutsy, gutsy comeback by the mavs last night

all these years living in big d, i've never had much respect for them and their yearly playoff collapses, but these fuckers just might finally be for real

Easy big fella. Didn't we just see this movie in the New Orleans series? Still, gotta win the first before you can win the second. This should be a great series.

Who'd have thought, Corey Brewer and Jeff Teague, DEEP bench players for the Mavs and Hawks would be so crucial in those Game 1's.
