And I'm thanked in the liner notes, for no good reason I can gather.

Gave this a quickie listen this morning and quite liked it. Enough so that I'm burning it to cdr so I can listen on my real system. There is a pureness in her vocal tone that the production captures admirably, and I like the fact that everything surrounding her is straightforward and unadorned. In other words, the production doesn't get in the way; it doesn't sound overly glossy while it avoids an artificial lo-fi aesthetic. Well done and good work, PoD.

Jerkass will lurve it.

Yeah, I gave it a listen last night and before I knew it, it was over. Enjoyed it. Will be listening again.

And Happy day of your birth.

Thanks Stacey. Yeah, we were shooting for that classic 32-36 minute length of albums that everyone in the project loved.

Oh, yeah, I definitely meant it as a good thing. The older I get, the less patience I have for long records.

I've been listening to this a lot today, and I have one complaint to make - although it's got nothing to do with PoD's work...

Someone should ask Kait, nicely, to stop the Sarah Maclachlan-ish yodeling. Her voice is so good; it doesn't need that artificial affectation.

Otherwise, it's all good. Really good.

If anyone wants it, i'm killing the link tue. morning.

Also, rads, thank you again, although she'd probably take it as a compliment. And if you could have seen her cutting those vocals through the control booth window, she'd have won you over because she meant every note, to her it isn't affectation, it's the melody.

Also, if anyone want's to support her by buying it, please consider buying it through me. I bought 70 copies to facilitate her move to houston.

that way she didn't have to borrow the money from anyone. I can make my money back during camp on those albums.

she was gonna go one way or another.
