exactly. I posted the same shit on my friend's FB.

If that pesky Donald Trump hadn't been meddling in my affairs, I would have gotten away with it!

are the republicans doing a super long con?

first they were for the individual mandate, and then years later it was Obama's idea which liberals don't really like, but fuck it, it's prt of some improvements to health care, but now liberals are defending the mandate, a part many don't like saying, "you don't like it but it was YOUR idea" so now liberals are defending it with the defense that it was their stupid idea in the first place. But what good is a mandate without a public option? It's win win for the insurance companies, isn't it?

i so confused.

i should go to bed.

Saw this on Wonkette. Apparently, it's real, & noted mixed-race Hollywood person Sean Astin is running the campaign.

I see you're "I'm Korean" and I raise you a "I don't know where you be from, but I be from North Bergen son."

If I had to guess, both of these are attempts to appeal to a broad base of voters from different demographics in a borderline stupid way, because they get attention. And in today's politics, nothing succeeds like stupid. Or clownishness. Who cares if you have a 4 point plan to clean up Springfield if you're not rapping it?

Although, this one might be the best ad I've ever seen: James Perry for New Orleans Mayor but what do I know? He lost to a honky.

Anyone else getting a laugh at the mock outrage over Common coming to the white house?

Considering Eazy E gave $5,000 to the RNC and had dinner with Pres. GHWB, yes, there is a certain laugh factor over them freaking out over a fucking pussy/sorry rapper like Common.

That being said, although it will be far from "game over", I will enjoy seeing BO spike the ball, November, 2012.

had a convo with a friend today about how apoplectic the right will be over this. Like, every conversation will just devolve into Tasmanian Devil/Zombie from 28 Days Later - style BABUBLOBOBLUBABBUBA with the very mention of the dreaded BHO name.

This Jesus Freaks vs. Only The Producers fight is going to get nice and hairy. Hopefully in the middle of every one of these primaries.

Proud of Newt Gingrich for employing a major user of psychedelic drugs as his press secretary. Acid casualties need jobs too.

Quote:
“The literati sent out their minions to do their bidding,” Tyler wrote. “Washington cannot tolerate threats from outsiders who might disrupt their comfortable world. The firefight started when the cowardly sensed weakness. They fired timidly at first, then the sheep not wanting to be dropped from the establishment’s cocktail party invite list unloaded their entire clip, firing without taking aim their distortions and falsehoods. Now they are left exposed by their bylines and handles. But surely they had killed him off. This is the way it always worked. A lesser person could not have survived the first few minutes of the onslaught. But out of the billowing smoke and dust of tweets and trivia emerged Gingrich, once again ready to lead those who won’t be intimated by the political elite and are ready to take on the challenges America faces.”

Pawlenty hired a bunch of drunks apparently. Also, this guy has the best bojangle in history. Runs fluke win for GA Gov in the year the Repubs won everything, falls up to RGA exec dir in 2010. Now they're gonna take him down a notch, I guess.
