I don't really understand my generation's fascination with adding and removing their FB profiles every 6 months. They always make some parting comment with hints of disdain. Kinda like when people would quit the board here. Then, lo and behold, 6 months later, they've returned to the site like it's Ike Turner.

it's one thing if you have a legit falling out and the friendship ends, but if you at one point accepted a facebook friend invite, but then delete it cause 'your numbers are out of control', i find that kind od weird. as far as i know, FB isn't charging people per friend..

I'd agree, except I do a quarterly friend purge. I don't do it because of numbers, I do it because there are people from like junior high and high school that add me that I want to see what's going on with them but in the long run, unless they are my real friend or they have some skill or connection that I could potentially use later on down the road, then they're gonna get cut eventually.

Why not just hide them instead?

So last night I had this dream...

I was at a high school reunion, shirt off and just in pajama bottoms....when suddenly i remembered that i was the second guitarist in Iron Maiden and we were about to go on stage in the next room, which coincidentally held 20k, as opposed to the 150 in which our reunion was being held. I excuse myself and start making my way toward the stage, shuffling through the crowd, when i realized that it would be ridiculous for me to gon stage in just pajama bottoms. so i turn around, and start heading back to reunion where my overnight bag was. i proceed to throw on a shirt and make my way back to the stage, when i realized at this point, where had my pants gone?
I start badgering people in the crowd if they'd mind that i was on stage pantless.......that's all i remember....

moral: no leftover nacho's after 10pm people! especially the jalepenos!!!!

Having to take time out and instead of meeting with actual elected leaders to go through a bunch of pomp and circumstance with a bunch of useless old relics of a time long gone seems like a bit of bending over backwards to me.

I haven't watched it, but I did listen to it. And when even O&A have Barry's side, I've got to think it wasn't really his fault.

As an aside, I know the right tries to knock his "arrogance" every chance they get, but I can GUARANTEE you that he spent many years practicing and perfecting that signature because he "knew he'd need a great signature some day."
