I am unemployed. I have literally nothing to do from about 10am onwards. I am very very bored.

So I thought perhaps we could get a game of Birthday Poker going. You select 5 people who share a birthday with your good self and as a group we analyze each hand and come to a decision on who wins.

You can get your hand here, if you'll excuse the phrase: http://www.famousbirthdays.com/welcome.html

I have a middling hand and don't expect to win but the more I thought about it the better I thought my hand was.

27th April

Sheena Easton, Anouk Aimee, Casey Kasem, Jack Klugman, Ulyssess S. Grant.

I rejected Ace Frehley who I'd consider a 2 of Spades in the pack.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
Stephen Morris (drummer; Joy Division, New Order)

Just missing the cut:

Julia Roberts, Dennis Franz, Steve Atwater, Terrell Davis, Ben Harper, Andy Richter, Erasmus

Damn, my whole life I always thought that Sally Struthers was the best famous birthday I had:

But I've got:

SOULJA BOY TELL 'EM

Jim Davis (GARfield)

Jackie Motherfucking Kennedy Onasis

Former Princeton Basketball All American and Former United States Senator Bill Bradley

And Peter Rabbit Author Beatrix Potter

Not a bad draw, really.

I could throw in Bob Eubanks or Charles Osgood for a substitute, or R. Kelly or Sean Paul to make it a musical straight flush

I think you've fucked up here. You play Dennis Franz and Erasmus with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad you are the big daddy of the table.

Pairing Shirley Bassey with Stephen Hawking had potential but the rest of that hand is nothing.

Y'all in trouble now. Someone played The Maestro. It's going to take something special to this.

If you'd posted before 9.01am you'd have been winning. But you didn't. You are down to your underpants, loser. Good try though, any King Henry played with a jazz musician and and a frizzy haired deadpan comedian would win most rounds.

Sounds fun.
September 29th:
• Lech Walesa
• Madeline Kahn
• Miguel de Cervantes
• Jerry Lee Lewis
• Enrico Fermi

There were a couple others that I was pondering, but I think that I like these 5 the best. Not bad, I don't think.

Without even looking at your page, I know that you are August 29th, the same as my sister. Because I remember that she shares a birthday with Jacko.
Although, I believe that Quentin's character was "Mr. Pink."

EDIT:
Oops!
THAT Michael Jackson!
I stand corrected on the 8/29 thing.

Klara Hitler combined with Mario Balotelli is genuinely quite devastating. Probably the best pair so far. But Jacinto Benavente doesn't do much and although any Shogun is a very strong card it's partly canceled out by the Windsor which is a bit of a shame. It's difficult but I think Wenchlette has the stronger overall hand when you take into consideration the +2 curly moustache bonus she gets for Rollie Fingers.

It goes without saying Edward Albee is the ace but that means you have a bit of a decision on your hands here. Do you play the strong pair Minnelli and Strawberry together or do you try and even out your weaker cards?

Don't ever say this game isn't tactically demanding.

I'd play Minnelli and Strawberry as one pair, Albee and Kerouac as the other, and Feldon as the ace. Agent 99 cannot be topped.
