Mine too. I'll still be working next week but the wife and kid will be gone to the beach which is just as good. Then I'll join them for the second week.

Also there's a downside to recycling or composting everyfuckingthing. The trash bag stays put for like 3 weeks, so anything that IS in there that fruit flies like, they get a gooooood long chance at. So then they breed. Once a quarter I have an all-out battle with a spray bottle of stainless steel cleaner and some windex... looks like today's the day.

II just take the trash out before it's full a lot of times. Fuck a bunch of foul trash.

3 kids means taking out the trash at least once a day. Fills up fast.

Yeah we had to upgrade our can size.

The best part is that it appears some tiny Larry Bird lookalike has photoshopped his head onto what is, for all intents and purposes, the greatest picture ever taken. I bet its his FB profile pic.

Its too fucking hot to do anything here, and all sensible people have fled for higher ground, or to the beach. Bonus - not having to deal with a lot of crowds of failure when its too hot to think, much less be inundated with the newest Kenny Chesney hits.

Oh...and potato salad is wrong...ribs is the correct answer. And, if we are only discussing side dishes, corn-on-the-cob. Potato salad, especially on a hot day, is fucking gross.

Erroneous.
Perfect picnic food. Most people think it's gross because they were provided misinformation about mayo spoiling in the heat. Which your meat is much more likely to spoil and the potatoes for that matter than the mayo. And potato salad is cool which I find better to eat in the heat.

I find mayo in all its forms gross...spoilt or not.
