11. Direct Line To The Telepathic - 8+ minutes? Starts off slow, then we get the slow build to the epic climax and the drone-y ending. I guess I finally hear some Radiohead. 4/10

Final Verdict - Even without knowing their backstory, i think the music/production/feel of the album speaks for itself. It is alt/pop/rock, but it's tremendously watered down. And again, that in and of itself doesn't make me dismiss the band. The sub-par to only-occasionally-slight-above--average songwriting turns me off a great deal too. I'd hate to sit through the cleaner/polished/Sony version.

Didn't this album have "Smile" on it? That's the best song on the album.

'Smile' they had written after this record, but was included on the Sony re-release....and yes it was their best song and a perfect opener...

Sorry you didn't enjoy. I went by your energetic & fun request, and with all due respect I don't pay enough attention to the board to recall every single posters likes and dislikes. Until I form some sort of 'outside the world of obner' type friendship, everyone is kinda inter-changeable. no harm no foul. i tried.
