I think that Cee Lo album seems overlooked a bit Maybe not as out there as some of his others, but musically I think that one's as good as anything else he's put out.

Anyway, working with some appropriate background music today...

I only just picked up the Cee-Lo record, and am digging it with a big shovel.

yeah i guess it was just as an "in relation to" vibe i got from the record. i can totally see how someone wouldn't be into one versus the other.

I can see the similarities between the records too. And Ariel Pink is one of those albums that I shouldn't normally like but I unexplainably do.

Chris Bell - I Am the Cosmos

For someone who is not a huge Big Star fan, I love this album. The parts of Chris Bell & Alex Chilton are better than the sum for me. Too bad his life was cut so short.

I should check out that Howlin' Woolf record. I've got a John Lee Hooker, Real Folk Blues album from that series that I've been listening to and loving for decades.

First time listening to this. At first I was a bit put off by the bits of amateur-ish ripoffs that seemed to obvious. But, as this went on and on, the sprawling neverending creativity and ability to keep it interesting completely won me over.

This is a keeper and this band could go any direction (always dangerous).
