No so much for me, but my wife is a big Deadhead.
I got her #8 - Harpur College, Binghamton, MA and it's pretty much the best live thing I've ever heard from them.

Which other ones are really qual.?
I know that she'd like some more.
Looking for suggestions. Thanks.

I think I have #7 -- its from Hartford Civic Center in 1983 -- first song is Alabama Getaway. Its a 3 discer. I enjoy the hell out of it.

I wish they would label these as "Fast Set" or "Slow Set"

Not Dicks Picks but two of my favorite Dead Shows that you can actually buy on CD:

One From The Vault

Two From The Vault

Oh, also a big fan of Without A Net; its late 80's and a different sorta sound but the quality is pretty brilliant

agree. Also, the remaster 5-disc set of the GD movie is quality as well. I really like the new Cow Palace discs that came out as well.

my fave is #3. disc two would be perfect if not for the abomination that is donna's "sunrise".

Disc One:
Funiculi Funicula-The Music Never Stopped-Sugaree-Lazy Lightning>Supplication-Dancin' In The Streets-Help On The Way>Slipknot!>Franklin's Tower

Disc Two:
Samson and Delilah-Sunrise-Estimated Prophet>Eyes Of The World>Wharf Rat>Terrapin Station>(Walk Me Out In The) Morning Dew

Along with a certain keyboardist who shall remain unnamed -- the mere mention makes me shudder.

BLECH!

I downloaded a bunch of the Download Series releases on the weekend, and they're pretty good too. However, I'm a novice when it comes to the band. I really like the ones Bloor has suggested (and kindly set me up with awhile back).

Not sure of the #, but the Boston Garden '74 show is my fave. Great for driving on a country road at 2AM.

Dear DumpJack of 2007,

You had no idea what you were doing. If you knew the road ahead you would have probably just swallowed the rest of the pills.

All my love,

DumpJack of 2011.

Back then you were a novice...now you've listened to more actual Dead music than most people who consider themselves Deadheads....and you brought innocent people like me along with you.

I think I'm going to see if I can get charges filed at The Hague.

See if you can pull strings to get Alabama Air Guard to do bombing runs over Manitoba.

There is a good chance I would not have gone to see Further had it not been for that thread. Obner, helping the local economy.
