James Blake sounded a bit too much like Anthony and Johnsons (whom I can't abide) at first, but it has grown on me.

I think Panda Bear's Tomboy is the best Fleet Foxes album of the year.

I'm digging the new one as well. Just hits the spot for me. Since people have brought the other two up, I'd go Bon Iver, James Blake, and Fleet Foxes in descending order.

james blake is a total snooze for me.

I thought the new Bon Iver album was shit initially.
But then,
I listened to it more frequently;
and then,
I got the lp in the mail today.

Gotta admit, I hear a good bit of TVOTR on this new one, especially Minnesota

Yeah, I said that about his first record. The doubled vocals that Justin Vernon did on For Emma sound like Kyp/Tunde harmonies.

I just got back from seeing Bon Iver perform at the Ryman. Good show. Not mindblowing, but good. Colin Stetson is in his touring band.

That reminds me, I have a Bon Iver poster if anyone wants it. It's of the album cover artwork. It's folded, so it will have creases, just so you know.

Really enjoy the new album, but apart from 'Perth' I don't feel the urge to go back to it very often. Probably could be said about anything outside my top 2-3 the past few years.
