Plus they still have Andy Reid as their head coach

I saw that. "I'ma play when I wanna play" is not the best way to get yourself signed as an aging, single-threat receiver.

I disagree, I think he would've still been a deep threat and still possibly doubled. I was actually hoping the Ravens would float a 1-yr deal his way (which, they may have).

As for the Eagles--I'm still not sold on them automatically winning the NFC. A lot hinges on Vick being potent.

Ravens picked up Vonta Leach. Not gonna lie, hoping he can do for Ray Rice what he did for Arian Foster. Our running game definitely got better.

Deep threat is what I had in mind when I said single-threat. You agreed with me.

Gotcha, I read it as he was only a single coverage guy now.

There's a chance that the Dolphins are interested in Brett Favre. Incredible.

I thought I read earlier on Twitter that the Dolphins were also trying out Tiki Barber

The Dolphins are pretty much doing anything at this point. The fans are unhappy, the team is in disarray, if this season is a bust Sparano is gone--its a mess down there. As far as I know they were a team that needed to be active during FA and have done pretty much nothing.

Essentially they are the Orioles of the NFL.

If these things are true, the Eagles sign Favre and Barber.

Wasn't Favre actually mentioned last week at the Eagles camp? I just can't believe he can stay retired.

I thought he filed his papers this year. Not that I care anymore. The guy makes me forget about Roger Clemens' "retirement" by a long shot.

I know its preseason and all, but what's up with Ravens @ Falcons PS game tix going for $2.50? Stubhub has listings like crazy at that price.

i started noticing this on stubhub for concerts a while ago. in most cases, when you get through all of the clicks to buy, the fees add up to the ticket price. so there's a $50 ticket on stubhub for $3 and the fees come out to like $47. i'm not sure how they can get away with that. maybe it's not the same thing, but that jogged my memory.

On behalf of the Bills organization, I'd like to apologize to the city of LA for not providing you with a better team.

You can park behind The Georgia Dome at the homeless encampent that Bloor and I were almost killed at years ago. Scariest place I've ever fucking seen.

Fortunately that's no longer an option--I'm pretty sure it was razed when they expanded the World Congress Center.
