This post was stupid and redundant because I don't know how to read.

Spotify is awesome so far though.

I jailbroke my old one for Tmobile and ported my home phone number to it. So I do still have an iPhone.

I'm a little scared of the Gingerbread update. Right now, my phone feels like the baddest motherfucker on the planet; I'm hoping GB won't do to it what IOS4 did to my Iphone 3G.

Not to reopen the Android/iphone debate again, but so far everything I've heard that the Iphone 5 can do I'm like "my phone does that already"

yeah i'm really angry that my phone is basically a POS right now. it'll restart whenever i use google music or pandora for more than 5 minutes. i use audiogalaxy mostly because that's the most stable app for me to play music on. it also just randomly plays songs from either google music or my sd card whenever i have bluetooth enabled and turn on my car, different apps will start up when it's been in my pocket for awhile, battery life sucks, etc.

yail, have you ever rooted a phone? i was wondering about that and if maybe it'd be worth it.

I haven't. I've thought about it because the only downside of my phone is the preinstalled shit I never use. I don't feel like it slows my phone down though right now but stay tuned.

I saw somewhere that Honeycomb is coming this week for my phone. Gritting my teeth.

TCB sent me a google+ AND a spotify invite, but I honesty have no idea what spotify does - except after reading this thread I can surmise it's something akin to Shazam with a pandora/recommend tastes type add on, and you can play or stream the songs instead of just buy them?

It's basically Rhapsody, with a sharing component. I had Rhapsody off/on for a few years, so they may have added the sharing aspect since I left. So, you can make & share playlists and stream tracks or albums. It really sucks at going down a rabbit hole on an artist though, and the iPhone app doesn't even have a way to see your friends shit nor related artists.

The Broad is toying around with Rdio, which sounds like Rhapsody with a focus on music discovery.

Spotify. I d/l/d it, and I guess I can search and play a bunch of stuff that I might like but I don't have to steal it or what?

That's pretty much what I'm using it for.

Anyone mainly use this on their desktop and stream music to airtunes or whatever? I can't figure out how to get it to play over my wireless speakers, basically.

It will cost you a little money, but I think what you're looking for is AirFoil

I'm going to have to figure this out soon myself.

I have definitely enjoyed it for the past few weeks. I just need to spend sometime listening to a bunch of albums I have missed this year and then randomly check out a bunch of stuff as well.

The only reason I haven't is my AirPort Express died and I haven't replaced it yet. Should be remedying that soon.

I'm going to get my 10 minutes and then buy this bitch. Works perfectly. Hopefully they're busy stealing my identity as well.

O yeah - they're not even fucking around with this "we'll broadcast noise over your system after 10 minutes" shit. My head still hurts, but I coughed up my money. Thanks for the tip, CBK.
