Where can I find the set list to last night's show at the 930 Club in Washington D.C?

It's on that NPR site that Stu linked to where you can stream it.

It kinda sucks that:

a) they are getting bigger by the minute with all the press, etc.

b) a "local" band in Baltimore/DC area

so I cannot get tickets to see them anymore.

doesn't this happen with every band that gets pretty big? yeah, you used to see them in basements, but then they grow up and get lots of fans and soon enough they're playing for $30 in front of thousands of people.

maybe they'll do really well though and invest money in developing their live show to realize it's full potential, because they could do amazing things i think

I agree. It's relatively boring as it is now.

Absolutely. Its not even that I "wanted them all to myself" either. I've burned copies of their albums and solos for friends since I first heard them. Its just me being frustrated that I missed out on tickets to both 9:30 and Ottobar performances.

i thought they were amazing. it's totally psychedelic, a pulsating, phasing, rumbling mess of echo and bass. most of merriweather and a few hits from feels and sung tongs. some songs worked incredibly well live – brothersport, fireworks, what would i want sky, who could win a rabbit – some fell slightly flatter, like my girls to close. that would be my only complaint about the show, but i was prepared for it to have the bass pulled back a bit. i enjoyed seeing them with a couple thousand people who were all very into it. they could fill amphitheatres, and stretch out across two sets easily.

how'd that go? I've been getting the hallucinogen itch lately. I haven't tripped since 2007 and that was shrooms. I have NO clue how to even acquire this stuff anymore.

do what I did, go to an animal collective show...lol.

it was fun, I think its pretty stupid that they're charging kids 50 bucks (I got free tickets) and playing nothing but new songs (half amazing, half boring as shit)...lots of 15 year olds disappointed that they didn't hear my girls

good. They need to realize early that not all bands are hit factories and had they put even 5 minutes into researching AC, they'd realize that they almost never play old tunes in their live shows.

well, they used to do that when they were new, playing smaller venues...I think there's a point where you need to be a little humble.

well, I don't go to AC shows expecting to hear their greatest hits.
