Now that I took my head out of my ass, emptied most of the music off my phone and created an offline playlist that I only use to sync to my phone, I like this a lot more.

Yeah that's definitely the way to go with this.

I'm coughing up the 10 a month and think it's well worth it. Spotify gives you access to most comedy albums too. I've recently listened to:

Marc Maron's new one
Louis CK Hilarious
Maria Bamford

Dern. Good call.

I'm still holding out before I pay - I mainly listen in my office which has innernets and my carra, which does not.

I've had this for awhile, but I feel like not having a fb account kind of limits my options with what I can do with it.

I didn't connect to Facebook for the first month or so I had it, but then I did and now I'm like "oh snap!"

Also, I still have invites.

Spotify is open and free now, no invite needed, unlimited streaming for a month with the free account.

http://www.engadget.com/2011/09/22/spot ... music-str/

also, the Facebook integration is rolling out, and pretty bad ass. it tracks everything on Facebook in a new Music App section, and you can now simply click a song link from a friend and it instantly plays.

so when you're connected to FB via Spotify, whatever song you're listening to appears in your profile/friends' ribbon on the right side of the page? I can see what Dale and FlyingRabbit are listening to, but can they see what I'm listening to without me actually posting it to my FB profle? basically, does it automatically post into that feed what you're listening to?

EDIT: yes Stu, it does

It abbreviates it after a few songs and just says "Stu listened to Nästa Sommar and 24 other songs on Spotify."

no. i like the interface with Facebook, just wish a few more of my Facebook friends used it so we could mess around with spottily

however, i am finding i'm not using Spotify very much. i find my time is pretty limited and i use it in listening to music i already have or to podcasts. its most useful in checking out bands i'm curious about...just don't have much time for that these days.

I'm not on Facebook enough to notice. And as I mentioned to someone, I'm actually more interested in what people are listening to than 99% of the other banal crap they post about, so no.

i'm with you Yail. i'd much rather see what someone was listening too, possibly discovering something new, than see more shit from first time moms, bad advice, bi-polar motivational speeches, and scripture.

i really need to purge my list.

Here's a link to listen to Pandora. Enjoy!
