Shit is awful. I want to kill listening to this garbage. How the fuck do people like this?

How can I sabotage my colleagues MP3s so Florence + the Machine won't play ever again?

my 5 yo girl likes that Dog Days, I tell her not to do the repeat[you know how kids can do that], she usually complies thankfully but on to something worse like a Black Eyed Peas Remix(Uggghhh)

We may not agree often, but when we do it's 100%.

I love the name of the band, and want to like their album, but it's really terrible.

I had to go find a Youtube of that "Dog Days" song to see what you guys were talking about. I guess it would get pretty bad if I had to hear it a lot, but I don't know. Mostly just really annoying videos (both versions) and a super-annoying looking person. Like, rivaling Pomplamoose in how irritating she is just to look at. Musically, though, I don't get why this has you all so riled up. Maybe I'm just lucky not to ever be involuntarily subjected to stuff like this?

So glad to find I'm not the only one who finds this group godawful. I had a friend talking about how much she liked them. Then I saw Florence on some awards show singing and was horrified. I thought maybe it was just a one off and the whole group was better. Nope. Perhaps even worse when together.

...and I never gave them a chance. They wrote a song for Dragon Age 2 which was pretty forgettable but far from awful.

Is this something like Mumford & Sons et al. that all white people have mysteriously fallen in love with?

She was initially big in the UK, but she had an appearance on some US-based music award show last year. I can't recall which one. Subsequent to that performance, she blew up in the US.

I think what surprised me most about Florence Welch though is that she was sprung from the womb a mere 25 years ago, when she doesn't look a day younger than 35.

I don't like a lot of his music, it's not in the terrible category, just too "world" musicy for me.
In his defense, she was on a magazine cover we had and he said he never heard it. I put it on. It's not like he likes her or knew it.
