It's about time we discussed this. Not only does it shit all over Beady Eye, I think it shits all over everything Oasis did since Be Here Now.

'The Good Rebel' is even better. I've uploaded the EP for you guys.

I'll give it a shot tomorrow, but i liked the Beady Eye record and I think 'The Roller' was the best song Liam has ever written (for the beatles).

he's playing at pretty much the classiest place a human can play in Philadelphia, so tempted to get tickets.

That first video just isn't good. Song is decent, but the video...yikes.

Thread has too many words that aren't links to the album.

On Be Here Now, this made me laugh out loud.

Quote:
We were partying while we were working. And when that record was finished, I took it back to my house and listened to it when there wasn't a party happening and I wasn't out of my mind on cocaine. And my reaction was: 'This is fucking long.' I didn't realize how long it was. It's a long fucking record. And then I looked at the artwork, and it had all the song titles with all the times for each track, and none of them seemed to be under six minutes. So then I was like, 'Fucking hell. What's going on there?'

That's funny, the first thing I did after reading that article the other day was to make sure I still have Be Here Now.

Check and check.

All my people right here right now...d'y'knowwhatimean

I remember buying this from a Sam fucking Goody in Enterprise while visiting my dad...and secretly kind of liking it, but then going back to school and completely forgetting about it because even What's The Story wasn't really something we would have played at parties. Much less this. Though really, we should have been like super into it.

Just queued it up. The minute plus helicopter sound intro to D'You KNow What I Mean really sets the tone.

But really this is vintage Oasis.....stretched to 7 1/2 minutes of Coke Rock.
