On a recent trip, when we woke up one morning and were getting ready, the tv was stuck on whatever channel this is on. It was a marathon. I was pretty bummed for about an hour after we left thinking about how people are dealing with real problems and these brides-to-be are worried about whether to get a $3000 or a $2800 dress.

I've gotten about 12 of those in the past 18 months. But, you come to appreciate them because I've applied for 40 jobs in that same time-frame and most of them just ignore you like you're the homeless guy asking for spare change on the train.

Just looking. Trying to get that career started. All I've got is a job right now. :)

I am still working at the place I've been at for 5 years. It's just time to move on. Sometimes it's hard to do a legit job search when you're working 8-5 though.

Extremely weird Vice story about a "goth stripper" who happened to date the world's largest acid manufacturer, and live in a decommissioned missile silo until the guy and his chemist turned each other in to the DEA
