the one disk best of was my introduction and my gateway drug. But even that, with nothing but hooks galore took a while to sink in.

Kyle - nothing they've done approaches Glad Girls, imo...it really is pop perfection.

But, I actually really like these guys when they're on their game. To wit: I woke up with "Surgical Focus" in my head this morning for no reason.

I also like Bulldog Skin a lot. There's a best of comp that I'm surprised you don't have. Bob's is probably great, but if you want their official one I can send you a link on Monday.

As long as you define pop perfection as one single hook repeated ad infinitum with absolutely no dramatic build within the song.

I was going to say something like 'even though it gets repetitive I don't mind that because the hook is so great' but I figured you morons could clear all that up.

And Rads, your specific disdain for this band (and every band) is well noted. Good job, duder.

It is a good hook, yes. Maybe I'll put a mix together. Do you need me to chew your food for you too?

What a waste of time this argument is. The band writes great songs. What's the best color?

For every day wear? Blue

For Saturdays? Red and Black

THERE IS NO ARGUMENT!

The official one is definitely much better.

Love "Bulldog Skin."

Yeah I would welcome this. Things are getting stale around here.

Friend of the team, Eric Schinker....aka Sprinkler....aka Mr Schinker does a radio show here in Madison on WORT. Every October is Bobtober and he devotes all 12 hours of his show to Bob music. He is on Wednesdays from 2 AM to 5 AM central time (meaning tonight). He has two more shows left for this month. During both of these shows he will be playing one track from Let's Go Eat The Factory. Also during next weeks show he will be featuring about an hours worth of goodies that I have pulled from the RichT archives (mostly demos of Bob/GBV songs throughout the years). It's also WORT pledge week and I have donated a bunch of GBV/Bob stuff to include as pledge premiums!
