Location: getting some kicks at the mall
Spending next week in San Diego, and I got halfway through wading through a potentially dismal conference schedule before realizing "wait, I have no wife and no kid with me, shit, I could go see a band"! I haven't done that in, well my daughter is 3, so around 3 years. So now I'm confronting the embarrassment of riches of choosing between Dum Dum Girls, Cymbals Eat Guitars, and The Rapture. this week could be great!

I guess I'd go with the Dum Dum Girls or The Rapture. I've seen Cymbals Eat Guitars before and they were kind of lackluster.

i'm going to be in San Francisco next Tuesday afternoon through Friday. also looking into bands...dont see a ton of great shows unfortunately. see dum dum girls and peter, bjorn and john on the calendar...sort of meh on those.

gonna really try to get in some good meals and test the max of my per diem. then just lie around the hotel half naked and revel in not being screamed at by babies for the first time in years.

We used to send me around a lot, and I almost always flew business. We got bought and things have dried up, for the most part.
