Tonight they were at a benefit dinner for a friend's foundation and they won a pair of tickets to see Ray Davies at the Chicago Theatre on 11/11.
They just called to tell me this and to ask me if I wanted the tickets.

My mom called today and left a rambling voice mail imploring my wife to call my sister (my wife has met my sister 3 or 4 times)to convince my sister to get back on her crazy pills.

Pretty similar.

Yes. I thought of that, too.
But, then I decided that they rock more for knowing that Ray is one of my favorites, winning them FOR me, and then for giving them to me.
