If we were heading to my parents house in Bmore, I'd be at that Thanksgiving evening game to see the bros. take on each other when the 49ers roll into town.

Just saw this. I missed the game because I was at the Falcons game. Looks like they did good, but Garrett is taking heat over some play calling?

He played not to lose on their next-to-last drive, and that's exactly why they lost. Tried running the ball to run out the clock, but couldn't get a first down (or even remotely close to one). Was too terrified to trust Romo enough to pass, because he feared the backlash if a pick was thrown in that scenario. So, they gave the ball back to Brady with just enough time left for him to sweep the leg. Game. Set. Match.

For being an Ivy League-educated football lifer, Garrett rarely shows the slightest hint of in-game intelligence. I mean, Wade is clearly retarded, but even he understood game situations sometimes. I know it sounds cliche as hell, but the only team that's beaten the Cowboys this year has been the Cowboys - and they keep doing it week in week out.

Yeah, lots of similarities between the Cowboys coaching staff and the UGA staff/team.

Although yesterday they went buck....(on the Rams but still)

By that logic, Romo would be a horrible QB one game, and legendary the next...oh wait...

Not ready to say he's a horrible QB yet (considering the circumstances leading up to yesterday's debacle). Having seen him play the Ravens in the AFC North, I've seen that he's capable of making some big plays.

I don't think it's fair to judge Carson's skill level based on yesterday's performance because:

1. He's been on the team 5 days, which probably isn't long enough to learn any kind of formidable offense.
2. He's been back in the league 5 days, so he is probably pretty rusty.
3. At least 1 of those interceptions was a tipped ball that should have been a reception.
4. At least 4 of his passes were dropped.
5. He didn't look much worse than Kyle Boller.

That being said:
Lol @ OAK
(I think it was the 2nd interception that was totally inexcusable, but he was definitely off his game.)

Just saw Brian Urlacher at the Chipotle when I was having lunch.
He's not as big a guy as I thought he would be.

I ran into Dan Hampton once, too and Hampton could've eaten Urlacher for breakfast. That guy was a beast.

In Todd's defense, Hampton was a wider load. Urlacher is built like an MMA fighter or something. Hampton looked like a Super Fan.

And knowing Todd, he like 17 when he met Hampton, so he looms much larger in his mind.

Little known fact: Todd is 6'3", and wears size 15 shoes.

Really? I would have guessed him to be in the 5'10 range. This board = tall people.

Having met him (and going from memory), I'd say he is in the 5'-6" range and 175.

5'7, 175 lbs.

And yeah, I was 17 or so when I met Hampton. However, it was Hampton's arms that stand out more than anything; they were as big around as my head. HUGE.

Nah bro. That performance last night was cringeworthy.

Besides, I just give you shit because of my city's culture of failure but hell, that's the beauty of sports. The misery is what makes it taste all that much sweeter when you win.

I feel sorry for those who don't truly buy in with any sports team.
