How much more "11" can it be?
None.
None more "11."

The eleventh hour, eleventh minute, eleventh second of the day will be peak eleven.

(Conversely, 11:11.11 pm, or 23:11.11 on the 24-hours clock ("military time", "hospital hours"), can eff right off.)

That was in reference to black.
I think you wanted this one:

Quote:
Nigel Tufnel: The numbers all go to eleven. Look, right across the board, eleven, eleven, eleven and...
Marty DiBergi: Oh, I see. And most amps go up to ten?
Nigel Tufnel: Exactly.
Marty DiBergi: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
Marty DiBergi: I don't know.
Nigel Tufnel: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
Marty DiBergi: Put it up to eleven.
Nigel Tufnel: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
Marty DiBergi: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
Nigel Tufnel: [pause] These go to eleven.

Oh, I knew the original reference, I just altered that original quote for more relevance, to comedic effect.
(Depending upon whether or not you really think it was "funny", of course.)

It's a shame there isn't yet a day honoring the patron saint of quality footwear.

Nigel Tufnel: You can go have a bite and

Nigel Tufnel: you'd still be hearing that.

last night a world reknowned painter spoke at the job and i swear he was nigel's cousin. he had a british accent and said things like "my paintings all had vertical stripes and then i decided that the lines shouldn't go through the canvas so i made them HORIZONTAL" and "they were several SMALL paintings that i decided to bolt together to make ONE BIG painting"

Happy Nigel Day, everyone!
In honor of the day, enjoy this clip. I had never seen it before somebody posted it at Facebook today:

Nige actually held his own pretty well with the old master.

By design. See, the domain -- the domain also drums for the band.
