They're going to fit right in in the SEC.

In basketball, yes.

In football... eh, at least there's Vanderbilt & Mississippi &/or Mississippi State.

The "Antlers" were always like that.
The obnoxious B-ball fans who sat about halfway up, behind the visitors' bench and heckled the opponents to no end.
Amusing at the time. Embarrassing now.

dude, don't sleep on that mizzou hoops team

they annihilated notre dame their previous game, then did this to cal

nd and cal were a combined 8-0 at the time they faced mizzou, and the tigers beat them by 29 and 39, respectively

methinks they are MUCH better than their #21 ranking would indicate

I don't see why Missouri couldn't finish as high as second or third in the SEC East next year--it's not like there a lot of powerhouses in the division and at this point, I think mid pack Big 12 and mid pack SEC are a push.

They have won 10 games 3 of the last 5 years and played in plenty of big places--I doubt they will wet their pants.

The head-scratcher: Missouri's in the SEC East?

Then again, I suppose they could be trying to stoke a rivalry with Kentucky...

Pretty sure it was done to maintain numerical balance.

Of course I grew up rooting for teams based in Atlanta who played in the NFC and NL West, so these geographical qualifiers have always been a little dubious at best.

St. Louis is still in the NFC West.

& rivalry with the Skins or not, Dallas being in the NFC East is ridiculous. (& perchance the Astros getting moved to the same division as Oakland & Seattle is Texas's penance for that geographic effrontery.)
