wilco crowds are in a weird place right now, a very strange mix of people who don't really get along. I've been in some awkward sections.

yeah, the guy standing next to femdisco and I was going apeshit like he was on shrooms at a Umphrey's McGee show. Definitely elbowed femdisco a few times. Dipshit from Arkansas who had seen Wilco FOURTEEN times in the last year. His brother had flown in from Kansas City for the show in Knoxville. All of the guitar wankery has definitely brought the Trey Anastasio lovers out from the Phish tour along with dudes who tell Tweedy that Wilco is BAKIN'!!

I've posted many-a-glowing show review of Wilco shows. Everyone I've been to has been great. Tweedy and co. are really hitting their stride--hopefully this new record will be a studio document of such.

I picked up tix to Wilmington, DE (minor league stadium show), and the Wolf Trap date in Vienna, Va.

My wife and I go every time they are within 2-3 hours driving distance.

Glad to hear that the Sloss show was great. I nearly flew down there for it.

wilco's playing here tonight, and i'm really bummed that i'm not going

they're playing 5 shows in a week in chicago next month. i think i'm going to 2. it'll be the first time i've seen them in a few years.

I guess I've seen Wilco more than I've seen any other band, and by a fairly wide margin.

Nothing tops the NYE show at the garden/show at the Pier with My Morning Jacket in Philly around A Ghost Is Born

Man, I could really use a winter Wilco show.

White Denim are on my list to check out for sure. Bumped up since you mentioned them in the You Should Hear This: 2011 thread too.
