Just renewed my membership to my local NPR station and got my gifts in the mail yesterday: a coffee mug, a half-pound of Intelligentsia coffee, and a This American Life flash drive.
I think that the flash drive is about the coolest thing that I've gotten from them in my 3 years of membership, and that includes a big coffee table book about The Velvet Underground.

Any of you all members of your local station?
What are your favorite member gifts?

I am. My station usually offers a watercolor print by a local artist - I have three or four of those framed around the house. I also have a bunch of coffee mugs. Sounds like your station has more interesting choices in swag.

This American Life originates out of my local station (WBEZ in Chicago), as does Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me, so there are some cool tie ins that they probably do with those shows that other stations can't.
Oh, and also I get a Member Card that gets me 2fers at a bunch of restaurants and other places around the area. So, that's a nice perk, too.
And, of course, the more you donate, the more interesting it gets. I am doing $15 a month so... I'm about a mid-level donator, I think.

I showed an NPR card around here, I'd probably get shot.

Yep.
That's where I got that VU book (written by DeRogottis).
