The Van Halen is pretty bad. DLR can't dance for shit, but at least his voice is cool. EVH's guitar is pretty generic, but acceptable. The song sounds like something that should be playing during the "Girl With The Dragon Tatoo" credits as everyone walks out of the theater.

Jay-Z just sounds exhausted like there was no effort put into this song. (Not that there was any thought into the VH Lyrics) but the Jay-Z song sounds like something that should have been left as a voice mail and not a real song that more than one person should hear.

The better song award goes to Van Halen. Jay-Z is terrible.

My first reaction to the VH song was that it sucks on a whole other-worldly level. Then, I realized it was stuck in my head in the shower this morning after listening to it just one time yesterday. Since then, I've listened to it three more times. God help me.
