Through basic knowledge of their cannons... gotta go with The Breeders. I love those first 2 albums (and The Amps album) and I have not yet heard a whole lot of FB solo.

So yeah, Kim gets my nod.
(Kelly apparently gets her own nods.)

Both are surprisingly great, but I guess I go with Frank Black for Teenager of the Year

Laughable to even attempt to compare.

FB by roughly the distance between here and Neptune.

Gonna abstain on this one. Both are maddeningly inconsistent.

They are both very hit and miss for me. In both cases they have a handful of tunes I really like and a bunch of mediocre stuff. Ill probably pick Breeders just to be difficult.

Old Frank Black is good. The best of the new Frank Black sounds like rehashed old Frank Black. It's still good though. IIRC the most recent Breeders album licked bag.

went with Frank Black, as hes got the songwriting chops, though i dont think he sounds as edgy or imaginative as he used to

Let's see someone compile a Breeders Best Of that's 22 songs long and nary a snoozer among 'em.
