Packers had a league-best takeover differential. We see what that got them vs. Eli.

Let's hope MIA was flipping herself off for participating in that half-time show monstrosity. I can't believe MIA and Nicki Minaj let themselves be reduced to a 50-year old Madonna's fly girl dancers.

It's funny that Nicki and MIA are the only decent parts of that song.

The TD and subsequent missed 2 point conversion won me 250 fucking dollars in my office squares pool.

:rawk:

Great game.

if this year's halftime show was a monstrosity, what was your opinion of last year's?

my buddy was looking over his sheet when that last touchdown was scored and said, "if they don't get the extra and it stays like this, i win." so we started rallying around that as a bonus to the pats losing.

Brady, the best ever? How can he be when he's not even the best of his era?

Brady = Federer. Eli = Nadal. Roethlisberger = Djokovic. Rodgers = Andy Murray. Brees = del Potro. Peyton = Andy Roddick.

I am looking forward to Santorum, Gingrich, & Romney trying to pronounce Arulpragasam.

Ol' Ron Paul will refer to her as, simply, "The Dot".

True. It's not an apples to apples comparison, but Rodgers, to date, seems most to resemble Murray's career arc, at this point.

Anyway, I really wanted just to compare Peyton to Roddick. One, & done.

That's the first thing I thought of when the game ended last night.

Well, right after realizing Brady is NOT, nor will he ever be, better than or as good as Montana. JoMo still reigns supreme!

Don't think it's quite that bad, since I wouldn't know who to choose between Matt Ryan, Matt Stafford, & Romo, & I know nobody here thinks either Ryan or Stafford is that bad. So, I won't try to call the Iceman or MASTA an hack, nor Romo, but, yeah... It's got to be hard for a Cowboys fan, knowing the Boys could have been the four seed with just one completion in week 14 (I think).

Also: the secret to winning the Super Bowl is... LOSE TO THE REDSKINS. Last two seasons, the eventual Super Bowl winner is 0-3 vs. the Fighting Shanahans. (Packers lost 16-13 in OT last year, Giants lost twice to WASH this year -- & didn't look good, at all, doing it.)

Last: Rooney Mara was at the game last nite, & afterward, Brady must have felt like Lisbeth Salander's guardian after the revenge scene.

Matt Ryan = John Isner

Good, maybe even great, player that can beat all the average to good talent but loses on the big stage against better opponents and has never even played in a final.
