I didn't realize there was such demand/nostalgia for the Loaf.

They've sold out 2 nights here in Atlanta and a THIRD show was just added. The shows aren't for another month and a half.

And they were a great live band.

Not that AoL were ever so large a presence as the Eagles, but I imagine the plurality of Archers fans are about the same age, now, as the Eagles fans were for the Hell Freezes Over tour.

I'm sure that most of you are familiar with Archers of Loaf. If not, great band, and a guy at SOMB put together an excellent primer that takes into account their entire discog here.

Must hear if you don't know them.

Dudes, if you have an opportunity to see this show, do it! It was one of the better shows I have seen in some time, and made me once again realize how amazingly ahead of their time they were.

I wish they were coming to Boston. I only saw them once back when they were touring for All The Nations Airports and they were kind of lackluster which I think was because it was at the tail end of a really long tour.
