Is this new? I haven't kept up with these guys?

P.S. Good (and potentially good stuff I haven't heard) page here.

Yes. Recent leak. I hate recommending metal because it is such a fickle thing with taste. This is right up my metal alley is the best I can do for ya. If you've liked their previous stuff, especially.

Chuck Prophet: Temple Beautiful

This just keeps growing on me, best traditional rock album of the year easily is how I'm hearing it about now.

No. We were supposed to see him this past December or January at the Birchmere but our plans fell through.

Liking it a lot, maybe even more than Harlem River Blues. And definitely more than that first folky thing he put out. Dude's certainly got his Dad's DNA. If his fourth album is a coke-addled mix of celtic and cock rawk, we'll know rehab is the next step.

This is actually his 5th record, dude is pretty prolific.

My favorite song of his so far has been "South Gerorgia Sugar Babe" from The Good Life which doesn't sound like anything on that record but sounds a lot like the stuff on this new one. I'm liking the heck out of this as well.
